I was able to enjoy their discounted price for the Alice Dining Room Dinner at around 800 per person in November but the price is resumed back to normal in December. Of course with the recent dinner ban, I am not sure if they are still serving this menu.

The room already looked beautiful before the start of the dinner. Subsequently when we sat they dimmed the lights and the effect was even more dreamy.

(the last photo of the decor is after our dinner ended so the table was thus messy)
One of the servers will introduce the dishes and explain how it connects with the Alice in Wonderland Story. Their menu was designed like a story book and we can take it away as a souvenir.

Before I start with introducing the each food item, the general impression of this meal was that some of the flavors, eg. the soup and wagyu, were quite innovative. The flavors I think were great but if you are the kind of person who only enjoys traditional flavors, eg. black pepper sauce for steak, mushroom cream soup, then this menu may not be for you.

The story stats with Alice arriving to a garden in Wonderland and this Garden is the  Starter. The mango crab salad was rich and fragrant and the presentation was so lovely you feel you have dropped into the garden yourself.

The story continues with Alice arriving at the lake and she has 2 mushrooms which she would pick up to become big/small. The lake is the cream soup though instead of the usual mushroom it is pineapple. This combination is quite interesting yet it does work. The pineapple is quite refreshing for this creamy soup and prepares you for your next dish.

The sauce for the codfish was bottled like a potion in Alice. My friend described it as being tender and moist.

The main I chose was the Chocolate Wagyu. The chocolate is the non sweetened type. The wagyu was tenderness and the fattiness of the wagyu and the chocolate sauce matched perfectly. It was also stunning to see how the chocolate dome went up in flames and melted to become the sauce.

The story has come an end where times up. I tried the cherry parfait and the design of the fallen rabbit on top of grass was totally cute. The cherry flavors popped up much more than the pistachio.

My friend had to face the Queen of Heart and her card soldiers. The meringue was not too sweet and the tartness of the passion fruit and berries made it a very refreshing dessert(I think maybe I should have tried this and she should have tried the parfait in hindsight considering our mains)

Cookies are designed just like the cards as well. I have to say I am impressed by their dinner as well. They also have regular main menus and I definitely need to find the time to try it.
