Now, there’re many restaurants that import their beef from overseas, but how about having a local beef hot pot? Here, their setting is reminiscent of a vintage Hong Kong museum, with a window separating you and the butcher. It’s other walls are similarly decorated with various paintings. The menu has a ton of different cuts of beef, some I’ve never even heard of, let alone knew existed. Ultimately, we chose the Cow Bone soup, local beef platter and a plate of vegetables, which was more than enough for the two of us.
Most significantly, the beef platter had 14 different types of beef cuts, every one of them different in texture and taste than the other. As seen in the menu, you can also cook them for a different amount of time. I enjoyed the chuck region the most as the meat had a good texture in the mouth and absorbed the soup well.
