"The true test of any diner, as you well know Diane, is an evening burger".

And so, guided by the wise words of Dale Cooper, a couple of friends and me went to The Diner to have our Twin Peaks experience.

The setting of The Diner is pretty nice. You get the feeling of being in the US... especially through the choice of Fox Channel for the TVs! Of course, it's a little too neat and orderly compared to the real diners but still, the athmosphere is there.

Anyway, the main point of interest is the food.

The menu has all you can expect from such an establishement. Some of the burgers are rather original though which is always a good point.

For a start, we ordered onion rings.

Nice presentation and nice texture of the paste. A bit oily but that's to be expected.

Now to the burgers.

I had the chorizo burger. I also include a pic of the skirt burger one of my friend had because it's obviously the main attraction of the place.
Chorizo was made into a patty. The taste was good but lacking a bit in flavour. It was also a little bit overcooked. Judging by the comments of my friends, meat being overcooked seem to be the norm at the Diner. I'm actually fine with it but to have the choice on that would be better. The other ingredients of the burget were fine but not outstanding in any way.
Fries were generic but the coleslaw was good. A portion a little bit bigger would have been welcomed as the rest of the food is a bit heavy.

All in all, The Diner is a good addition to the HK burger scene but there is still some room for improvement.
