Met here for drinks and dinner on night of 10th Oct 2023. Although the restaurant was empty I was disappointed to be seated near the kitchen counter which was poorly and ‘tackily’ hidden with Chinese screens: I could also hear the exhaust humming and staff speaking loudly - not at all what I expected. My first thought was that it’s such an amateurish set up which was skimping on under trained staff. Suitable price charged for the food quality and great cocktails. But sadly the atmosphere does

My first thought was that it’s such an amateurish set up which was skimping on under trained staff.

Suitable price charged for the food quality and great cocktails. But sadly the atmosphere does not match the food.

I suggest staff be trained to speak softly and to understand the difference between good service and sounding like a dai pai dong. Background music could mask the kitchen machinery and staff chatter. Softer lighting at night could also help.

Would be a great place for drinks but bar service is slow, shared with another venue and under trained.
