There's always a line in front of this place. I've always avoided it because it is just fast food. I don't see the point in waiting in line for fast food. Well, now, I know why. There's always a line in front of this place. I've always avoided it because it is just fast food. I don't see the point in waiting in line for fast food. Well, now, I know why. I've finally tried Cafe de Coral.

Their beef curry is not the best beef curry in the world (that would be "Islam Food" in Kowloon City), but it is good and it is ridiculously cheap. Their western toast is very creative and has some sweet crunchy peanut sauce inside. It is also ridiculously cheap if ordered as part of an afternoon tea set meal.

Best of all, their menus are in ENGLISH! Yes! No more pointing at other people's dishes in front of the waitress, no more bad Cantonese pronunciations from me that will make the waitress laugh, yay! Even if you speak some language other than English, Cantonese, or Mandarin, no problem! Their menu has pictures with numbers and letters for you to order. All you have to say is "T1" or "R2" to the cashier, then take your receipt to the chef who will cook your dish, find a seat and put your belongings on the seat to indicate that it is taken, go back and get your food from the chef when it is ready in 5 to 10 minutes (they are fast), then eat, and enjoy!
