Whenever I'm with friends and want pizza, Pizza Express is the place we go to. It serves solid pizza at a reasonable price with great sets for groups or even two. Locations are every where as well. Located in Fashion Walk, it's located at the very end where a previous Italian restaurant once stood.

The space is massive. A lot of seats and very space out so not crowded at all. Probably one of their biggest locations.

They have an open kitchen on one area so you can see how they are making the food and constantly rolling pizza dough.

Menu is the same as all their other branches. However, they also have a exclusive menu for this branch only. It appears they try to focus on different areas of Italy and this time it is Sicily.

We noticed they had new items on their menu and decided to give them a try as we've tried almost everything on their menu already. But first drinks.

Boyfriend had the Guava Lemonade ($38, on the left).  This had  nice guava taste with a bit of bubbles from the Sprite.  I had the Ice Lemon Tea ($41) which is bottomless. They will refill constantly even without asking!

But as boyfriend's wasn't refillable, he needed another drink and had a Peroni Beer ($48 with 30% Happy Hour discount). Apparently this branch has a very extensive alcohol menu with a Happy Hour prices.

Meatballs and Bolognese ($68) is something we always order. But the menu said they had changed the recipe. Was it for the better? The sauce was better! More rich. And the balls were fluffy and soft with a kick of heat. They now added green olives to the mix. The original one had my favorite dough balls but apparently this is changed as well. Now they have flat bread. Which is still quite good and oddly more satisfying dipping into the sauce.

We decided to the try Calabrese Pizza ($188).  A rectangular pizza with Nduja salami, Napoli salami, mini mozzarella, grilled peppers, pesto, rocket lettuce, Parmesan and green chili. Perhaps it was rectangular is size, it seemed bigger than the usual pizzas we order.  And WOW! Was this particularly spicy. Definitely get this if you can eat spicy food. We weren't expecting it. But it was delicious. The crust was thin but crisp yet chewy.  I loved the mini mozzarella balls.

Roasted Chicken Farfalle ($158 small size) had half  roasted chicken. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The pasta was in a rich mushroom sauce and I found lots of spinach throughout. There was a heavy drizzle of sour cream. Not sure why but I guess to make it creamier?

We ended with my favorite must order item at PizzaExpress. Dough Balls with Nutella ($53). It seems every time I am here, this is my must order. I love this so much! Softy, chewy, salty dough balls dusted with powder sugar, dipping them in sweet Nutella. Perfect end to dinner.

Food is always consistent at PizzaExpress. No matter what branch, the pizzas are always good.  The food  a good size portion and tasted good. Service was good with constant refilling of my ice tea. This is a much quieter location with more spacious seating so would probably be back at this one more often.
