Ozu is a very interesting bar with Japanese style graffiti - with a HK twist as you see the skyline of the city drawn on the wall. we went there for a drink after work. very creative cocktails. we especially love the growing (infused) rose drink in the martini glass - great for the ladies. while it looks primarily like a bar (probably coz it's crazy buzz on an early thur evening), it actually offers a simple menu. we tried some of the snacks and highly recommended their grilled mushrooms and sweet potato which are perfect to be paired with a pint of Asahi. The sweet potato is very interesting as we didn't expect it in a teppanyaki bar. It's soft and sweet, well matched with the smooth mayannaise. The mushroom is even better as it is topped with seaweed pringles, adding another layer of texture and flavors to the well-seasoned mushroom. The chicken portion was generous, hence fulfilling. It's perfectly grilled, leaving the meat tender and juicy.
A great hang out for an after work drink, or some pre-party starters.
