To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Smart Cafe, a siphon specialty cafe in the heart of San Po Kong offers a wide variety of different coffees all at an affordable price. Smart Cafe, a siphon specialty cafe in the heart of San Po Kong offers a wide variety of different coffees all at an affordable price.

Looking for a nice breakfast in the morning we stumble across Smart Cafe, a nice little quaint coffee shop in downtown San Po Kong. After reviewing the menu we saw for only $49, we could order morning noodles with a selection of 3 ingredients and a cup of coffee with beans ranging from Indonesia to Ecuador. I ordered an iced latte along with some noodles which turned out to hit the exact spot in the morning.

Friendly staff, fast service. Would highly recommend this coffee shop for anyone looking to kill a few hours and have a nice affordable meal.
