Ambience is great, food is not

I had high hopes for this restaurant as I had heard good things. To put it simply, the ambience and view are really lovely, but the service was adequate and the food was extremely disappointing. The tuna tartare appetizer I had was just plain bad. The tuna had absolutely no flavour, and then it was topped off with a layer of goopy avocado (again with no seasoning) mixed with scallop, I believe? It was just one big mushy, unflavoured pile of baby food. I didn't get it. Why do that to nice tuna?I

I was hoping that my main dish would be better, a linguini with seafood. Again, totally tasteless. It was supposed to have chili in it, so I expected a little heat. But not only no heat, there was just no taste. There was sand in the shellfish that crunched in my teeth. Ugh, overall it was just a no. 

Simply put, I would not recommend, definitely for the price. I'm sure there must be a lot better places with a view and good food in this price range. Or if you must go here, stick with a pizza, which looked like it might be OK.
