I can’t understand why this restaurant named as “Shelter Lounge” because it is so “exposed”. It located at a relatively exposed area of New Street. There were mainly 2 long benches in the restaurant rather than usual tables. It made me have the feeling of university canteen! We “fortunately” able to sit in a regular table because we were walk-in customers. The designer’s chair was so comfortable. The first thing I noticed: no services charge!!! Set lunch was only $108. Wooo….

I ordered salad & spring chicken. The salad was nice but usual. My friend said the pumpkin soup was very nice (I must try it next time, it came with a fried cheese ball).

The chicken was very nice, juicy and tender. The side dish was surprisingly good. The carrots was nicely trimmed. The mashed purple sweet potato was smooth & tasty.

The coffee was strong & typical Italian style, I like it. I ordered an extra lemon tart, not included in the set lunch, it was also nice.

Overall, this lunch highly valued for money.
Other Info. : The restaurant is not fully operated yet, there will be some more space and 1st floor, may be there will be more tables. But the price may goes up & service charge may appears.
