I was randomly openrice Malaysian/ Singaporean cuisine restaurants today for a quick lunch, what caught my eyes was this Youngchick Rice that famous for their Hainan chicken.

I ordered their recommended dish, the signature Hainan chicken laksa.

It came with quite a big portion. Hainan chicken
Was tender and moist but not too oily. The drumstick was a bit tough but it was acceptable.
Their noodle was a taste of the noodle from my Malaysia trip. It was authentic and cooked perfectly. Soup was very flavourful and more on a shrimp based side. The spoonful of spice paste added extra spiciness. I guess you can ask omitting that if you have a sensitive palate. For me, this spoonful brought the whole noodle to another level that keep you eating until finish.

Staff were friendly and gentle. Speak softly and patiently to explain their dish. A big smile to greet and say goodbye to you.

Overall, even a quick meal, it was enjoyable.
