I recently bought a papaya salad takeaway from a small Thai food shop in Kwai Chung Plaza. This shop specialises in authentic Thai cuisine and desserts. The papaya salad, or som tam, was fresh and packed with flavours. While it was spicy as expected from a Thai salad, the spice was well balanced with the sweetness from the papaya.
