We always walk pass this shop coming to Quarry Bay Community Centre to do (multiple times) COVID testing. We finally decided to have it as we were starving after 1pm test appointment. It is not on the main street so if we hadn't come for COVID testing we wouldn't have known about it. The shop is quite small with maybe only 20-25 seats (if fully seated). The 2 waitresses are Thai (I spoke to them), and they're nice - no shouting of sort.

What we ordered
We only tried 2 lunch menu dishes as we were just aiming to have a quick meal before going back to our work. The first dish that arrived is  #12 Thai Stir-Fried Flat Rice Noodles with Pork or in Thai ผัดซีอิ๊ว (Pad See Ew) (Lunch Menu) at HK$58. All lunch menus come with a drink which you could choose between soft drinks, or Thai sweet drinks. I'd say it's one of the best Pad See Ew in Hong Kong I've found so far. Very good 'wok hei' (or as I call it burnt flavour), the noodle is the right type (some are very chewy or gooey), good portion of pork / noodle / veg. Taste wise I think it is a bit more adapted to HK style - I personally think it needs a tiny bit more Thai dark soy sauce, and sugar. The latter is easily fixed with the condiments available on all tables. Having said that though, it is still very good. I'd recommend.

The other dish is the #2 Thai Stew Pork Knuckle w/ Rice or in Thai ข้าวขาหมู (Kao Ka Mu) (Lunch menu) at HK$68. This is also good. The braised pork knuckle is very similar to typical HK style, but the difference is in the flavouring and gravy/stocks. Thai's is a lot sweeter and usually comes with plenty of gravy/stocks (sometimes you almost thought you're drinking it). I think the taste is on-point authentic. Good balance sweet and salty, compliments with the spicy/sour dipping sauce. If I have to give some negative comment, I'd say the meat could be more tender, they could've given me more gravy (although I'm sure if I had asked for more they will), and a bit of extra garlic would be great (again, I'm sure they'll give if I had asked).  I'd also recommend this dish.

The lunch menu comes with drink which we ordered canned coke (did take photo because what's special about it), and Thai Milk Tea (you can see in the photo above with it half way done
). The Milk Tea is typical, a bit less sweet than what you'll get in Thailand but I think it's great (usually they're very sweet).

We only had their lunch menu as mentioned, but with 2 dishes turned out right I think it's worth coming back for a full excessive meal again!. Will update how it is when I have more time out of work!. Below are also the lunch menu;
