Authentic Thai in Central

Decided to try out Baan Thai on a Wednesday evening in Central. We reserved a table at 8pm and were sat down straight away. Greeted with friendly waitresses and took our drinks order. Two of us ordered four dishes, pomelo salad was fresh & refreshing a great start to the meal! Then we had the pork neck with a homemade chili sauce, the pork was tender and juicy with a delicious chili dip. We had the pad thai and it was really good and our last dish was the lamb shank. Then we had the pork neck with a homemade chili sauce, the pork was tender and juicy with a delicious chili dip. We had the pad thai and it was really good and our last dish was the lamb shank. Beautiful coconut red curry sauce and the meat just melt in your mouth, huge portion! The only criticism I have is the spiciness is not spicy enough but you can always tell the staff to make it more spicy that is just my personal preference. Very authentic thai for Central area, no fancy ridiculous presentation and prices for food & drinks are very reasonable. I like the open shop front where you can feel the buzz of Wyndham!
