I actually bought 3 butter crust and 3 puff pastry crust for coworkers and ended up with a butter crust after everyone else has chosen one. I recently had a really good egg tart with butter crust in Tin Hau so I was looking forward to comparing it to another bakery. Compared with the one in Tin Hau, the butter crust at Tai Cheong was just average as it was not thick enough and the taste was not as strong either.
