Kimberly street in Hong Kong is best known as our "KoreaTown", I have eaten at all the traditional styled restaurants and have not been disappointed. But Han Cook's food was honestly, subpar. The starter dishes, or banchan 반찬 was disappointing as there were only three options: kimchi, egg-plant and bean sprouts. It would have been nice to see a bit more variety but nevertheless, they were generous with the portions. The restaurant was packed full of people, given that it was a Friday night, so
All in all, I can't say the meal was terrible but it really could have been improved. Service was average, waitresses could have been more polite and for the price of the meal, I certainly expected more. I suppose this restaurant was looking for a fusion-feel to it with the decor - but if you are looking for a quick korean bite, you could certainly stop by to try for yourself or the many other korean fusio-restaurants along Kimberely road!
