Located where Sushi One Deluxe once was, a new all you can eat shabu shabu place arrives. Nabu One is from the same restaurant group as Sushi One, Baby Cafe and Monster Sushi. This location was also once Baby Cafe and Monster Sushi. Which is probably why the decor hasn't changed at all as this was what Monster Sushi looked like.Price ranged from $148 - 338 depending on type of beef and pork for 90 minutes of pigging out. Price ranged from $148 - 338 depending on type of beef and pork for 90 minutes of pigging out. Boyfriend and I ordered $148. We could only choose one type of soup and for two types of soup, it was an additional $18 charge. We chose scallop soup which came out in a big pot and was bland. Typical from places like this as no matter what type of soup you order, it all tastes the same.
There is all you can drink soda and beer. And four different flavors of frozen yogurt and ice cream.
Beef wasn't good at all. We always order the lowest grade at other places but not as bad as this. It was so thin, it fell apart. And dry after a few swishes in the soup.
However, the selection of veggies and balls were good and plentiful. And they kept refilling regularly. They even had curry rice which tasted pretty good.
Will return if can't think of anything else to eat in the area.
