Finally, after nearly five years, I have found a decent indian curry house in Hong Kong. After a bad experience at Bombay Dreams and a couple of average curries in TST I had pretty much given up and just cooked Indian at home. Then by chance I found this place...it's pretty simple inside, no awards for decor, but the food is great. I guess it's more like British "Indian" versus what I have experienced in Bombay or Bangalore, but the dishes are well prepared and the naan bread is well made as is the tandoori (always a good sign). We had the mutton vindaloo, delightfully spicy in the British style, compared to the original I have tried in Goa which is actually more sweet and sour in taste and not at all hot. The chicken jalfrezi was excellent as was the saag paneer. They also have authentic Indian beer (Kingfisher).

I guess being in sai wan ho it's a bit out of range for most of the curry loving Brits, but well worth the trip. I'm just glad I live round the corner!
