We will not return, and will advise none of our social circle or families to ever go there.

The three/four chefs photographed as part of the restaurants creative team amount to nothing more to a marketing ploy judging by the quality of the food at this restaurant. They clearly wish to eclipse the Ye Shanghai or Crystal Jade type alternatives ... the House of Jasmine was a very poor alternative.
We will not eat at a restaurant where these three/four chefs are promoted. Disgraceful absence of professionalism on their individual parts.
Menu
- Of the 7 first-choices we made, three were not available. To compound this, we only learned of this clearly serious failing 10 minutes after our order was taken.
Dining / Food
- The food was in the main bland, and most certainly not equal to other choices in Harbour City or TST.  Zero delivery on their marketing of innovative dishes, and experienced chefs being behind their design..
- The soups (bean curd) were without effort by the chef, and so uninteresting there was no point in finishing them.
- The mixed rice dish in a bamboo pot was quite nice, albeit the portion a little economical.
- The chef's choice of mustard to accompany the jellyfish was wrong. Too sharp, and dominating, not augmenting / enhancing the dish in any way whatsoever.
- The other dishes quite frankly were forgettable, and as such we limited our order.
Service
- Besides the nice lady* at the front reception, the service was poor and at times frustrating. (*Would even go so far as to advise the cheerful and polite hostess concerned to go to another establishment as her professionalism and abilities are truly wasted there).
- We were handed one old, overused menu to share between two of us. Unacceptable.
- The waiting staff were distracted, disinterested and unmotivated. Where was their supervisor?
- We were waiting for 10-15 minutes for our order to be taken. Not acceptable.
- At one point two of the waiting staff argued when they were right next to our table. The argument being that one female staff member was apparently 'being lazy' and not collecting plates, with her response to her colleague's criticism (ambivalence and dismissive) self-explanatory.  Again, where was their supervisor, as they clearly thought they were in the kitchen and not the dining area!
Ambiance

- The furniture and general environment was that of a 'higher end establishment'. I have to wonder if this will be maintained.
- Having tables located so near to the entrance and on the main 'route' through the restaurant is more synonymous with a fast-food or casual dining establishment than a 'formal restaurant'. Design failing.
