Grand Salon .High Tea time ! Yes , Again ! U have no idea why girls love to high tea . To be frank , sometimes we just over craving high tea for no particular reasons . I admit that . But you know , this is a common girls 'habit , having high tea , lots of pastries , scones ... plus some girls gossip equal to perfect ! Mostly , normal gals have special preference and constant enthusiasm on high tea . The passionate and soft spot never vanish , we never get dull . The difference is just depends
The high tea stand
Back to the high tea . It's just so adorable . Scones , cheese , sandwiches and even butter are all in Mickey shape . Since the entire enviroment is in a Victoria theme, so do the high tea stand comes to a very classy and elegant presentation . A typical royal style with flower pattern plates and tableware.
Earl grey tea
Tea always come to my only only favorite - Earl grey . My best friend . A bit disappointed since they don't serve it in a pot . It is very inconvenient and unpleasant as the waitress need to keep on refill for me that I actually think it's an interruption . Moreover , the earl grey quality is under average . The tea is too bitter , but not dense or mellow , no layers at all . I think is more like local tea bags .
Upper level - Scones
For the pastries and cake , their scones are unexpectedly good . I prefer that one with raisins , sightly salty and create a contrast with the whipped cream and butter ,match well and blend well in your mouth too , taste excellent . The strawberrie jam tastes refeshing , not that sweet and goes well with the orginial scones . But the texture overall is a bit soggy and slack that it easy break into pieces after the first bite . The perfection of the scones is yet to be fully desired , but nearly . At least the adorable outlook score a victory. Medium level - Salty snacks
For the salty snacks, come up in three kinds , a bit monotonous . But the tastes generally are not bad. The prawn pastries are delicious , the base is very heavy butter tasty ! Served with sliced tomatoes , very refreshing . For the one on the left hand side , is ham and cheese Baguette . Seems Nothing special , but the combination is actually quite creative .Their baguette is in curry favor, create a very fruitful and fresh content with a special mixture . Surprising good . For the sandwiches , overall average , the combination and style are sightly odd , at least the salmon sandwich in three layers are clear and the salmon somehow
is not in a " blindly salt " condition .
Bottom level - Sweet delicacies
For the last one , sweet treats always bring delights ! Cookies presented in different Cartoon characters , very lovely . Naturally pop up your smile when girls saw that . Although it is not a freshly baked one , but the outlook and tastes are both awesome . One of it is even in Earl grey favor ! The cookies is really crispy in a thin slice , so it doesn't feel heavy or filling at all . The macarons are alright , over sweet and not plump . Let's skip it since I am a macaron fetish . I will be talking too much on Macarons . ( I am a Vdie heart fans of macarons ) The chocolate pastry is my favorite . Same in Mickey shape , absolutely lovely that u don't even want to eat it or ruin it up . However , I broke that shape after 1 min Very dense and rich dark chocolate favor, not too sweet , definitely can strike a balance and satisfy the max . This temptation have a smooth content with buttery double crunch surly can impress you . For the mango mousse . It's more like milk pudding actually , not creamy , somehow it's my piece of cake . It's still favorable and light in texture. For the cheese cake , I like the raspberry on top than the cake, the base it's over flaky and the cream cheese hint can't even stand out , seems a bit artificial .
For other highlights , remember to always make your reservation in advanced since Disneyland somehow is a hot spot . From my own perception , the problem I have with some other afternoon tea sets is that the portion are either too small or too big . This was definitely not the case at the Grand Salon. Moderate portions and quality was up to standard . As you can see from the pictures though, there was no need to cut anything in half to share. It is caring and delicated .
However , the service is rather slow sometimes , but not a big deal . I love how innovative Disneyland can be even when it comes to food presentation. The ambience is very luxurious and extravaganza with typical Victoria elements. I especially like the lightening in the centerpoiny .Overall is spacious enough with comfortable sofa , good for a long chat . So just enjoy an extraordinary high tea experience in reasonable price .
