I'm a usual customer of this resturant and is alway happy with the services in particular the boss. Today I went there again for lunch with a long-time-no-see friend. Just after we ordered, another friend rang and would like to meet us. He in fact was having lunch and therefore when he joined us, he did not order anything nor had any tea. When we pay, we were astonished that 2 set lunch of $43 would end up as $117. The waitress said that they would charge $20 for the person who did not order
The waitress said that they would charge $20 for the person who did not order anything. We argued that he did not have tea and we were not told that there were such charge. She said that if we insist she would collect $95 and she had to pay the remaining $22 to her boss.
We asked her to call the boss from downstairs so that we could explain to him to waive the charges. She made no reponses. We paid her $100 and went down the stairs. This waitress spoke loudly over the hand free phone to her boss saying that "Mr. So, the guy who did not order anything is come down the stairs!".
I am very angry with this. If you allow us to go without paying the extra $22, you should not talk at the back in such a way. I consider this is bad service. If you are going to charge $20 dollar for a seat, you should spell out in the first place and not until someone order the bill. I would not go again in view of the BAD service/experience this time.
Let me remind you that you may get charged if you don't order one set per head.
