To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I had quite some experiences with the Japanese all-you-can-eat buffet style dinner at other restaurants, but boy this one really sucked First, their orders were done through papers and pen, which were fine if the orders were in a timely manner. But their waiting time was out of proportion. It was more than fifteen minutes for a simple appetizer to arrive. That was fine too if they served those really good qualitied foods. First, their orders were done through papers and pen, which were fine if the orders were in a timely manner. But their waiting time was out of proportion. It was more than fifteen minutes for a simple appetizer to arrive. That was fine too if they served those really good qualitied foods. But NO their tempura shrimps were spoiled with the shrimp meat mushy. It would be reasonable to order two drinks at one time because your waiting time was just too long but, the waiter came over to ask, in a puzzled look, basically why i ordered a cold AND a hot drink 🤣
