have recently moved to Ma wan and decided with my wife to try this restaurant in the wonderful evening. Was on positive even having read all negative reviews before visiting this restaurant but HKD 450 isn't the right amount for confusion and embarrassment, disappointment we felt during the whole dinner, and lovely evening on the seashore went wrong. We orders 2 main disches with sausages, the first came in 15 minutes, it's ok. having waited 10 minutes more I started and shared it with my wife,
We orders 2 main disches with sausages, the first came in 15 minutes, it's ok. having waited 10 minutes more I started and shared it with my wife, however felt uncomfortable since I dont like eating whilst my wife is still waiting for her order and just looking at me eating with hungry eyes. 30 minutes passed.... I asked 2 service men with intervals of 5 minutes, on the almost 40 minute of waiting for the 2 order i asked for the third time where is our order. 3 times I heard 'let me check, sir' without any further feedback. It seemed we had been forgotten!!! 4 time they answered - your order is coming ( usually that means 5-7 minutes to wait), in 10-15 minutes I wondered again whats wrong where is our order?? They answered - let me check, sir. No apologies, no excuses. Finally it had come in 20 minutes after 'it's coming'.
the food is good and tasty, but tell me dear bosses of this place - does it usually take 50 minutes to cook boiled sausage? Or do you think is it ok to keep your clients in waiting of the second plate with interval of 40 minutes? It's better even serve later but the whole table same time.
The place wasn't overcrowded but service men were rushing to take neighboring tables away from sand however it was only 8:45pm when they took the order.
yammi but disappointing with poor service for such money.
