If you have been to Outback steakhouse, it tastes exactly like that but the cream is a bit different to English buttercream.
It just tasted like normal Chinese cream. We also got bacon soup which was rich in flavour loaded with bacon and potatoes. Next was the star of the show, the bagoes were soft and not as firm as the Western ones hence the locals will probably like it.
To me, the texture and taste was like stale Chinese mantau buns that have been microwaved fora bit too long.
We had the chicken and vegetarian.
The chicken was soft and moist white meat but the sauces were more for burgers, ie cheese sauce and tomato ketchup. The vegetable faired better, it was sweetcorn, cucumber, lettuce and avocado, but the vegetables were a bit repetitive because it was the same as the side salad.
I was also expecting the avocado to be guacamole but anyway it tasted good but not as exciting as this other vegetarian bago I had elsewhere which had hummous and feta cheese. We finished with the uji matcha chocolate cake and the chocolate orange.
Both had fillings in the middle.
