I tried Bánh mì in this restaurant a year ago which was bad that I didnt think I will try again. Baguette was too airy that collapsed after one bite. Sauce was too much and made the sandwich soggy. Meat was in bad quality. After morning exercise, I was looking for vietnamese food or sandwich for lunch. I decided to give the Bánh mì another chance after seeing the menu changed. I omit the sauce because I love pairing avocado with Siracha. Not sure if this is common, but they are a perfect match! Avocado was fresh and just ripe enough to allow chew and smooth. Loads of veggies for the extra crunch. Chicken was moist and marinated just right. Baguette was crunchy and warm.
Meanwhile, the vietnamese sausage one was also delicious. Loaded with different sausages and spread with paté. Very savoury and meaty. While loads of veggies make it fresh im every bite, not as heavy as you think it will be.
Quite a surprising change!
