在周末日吃一頓悠然自得的 Brunch,作為對過去五日勞碌工作的獎賞,就最適合不過。細心在網上做了些 research,發覺要在酒店嘆一頓 Brunch,閑閑地都要人均三、四百元 (若配葡萄酒或香檳的就要五、六百)。早前到過了太古「東隅酒店」的「Sugar」吃了一頓週日半自助 Brunch (中午十二時至三時),人均只是 $285 +10%,是蠻划算的選擇。「Sugar」位於「東隅酒店」的頂層,有室內,有戸外,露台位置環抱 180 度港島東海景,不論日與夜的環境都很醉人,閒時跟朋友來 happy hour 吹吹水,也很寫意。「頭盤系列」Brunch 的頭盤及沙律是任吃的自助餐,選擇有「凱撒沙律」、「法式吞拿魚沙律」、 「米飯沙律」、「希臘沙律」、「青菜沙律」、自家製麵包等。個人最愛的是「青蘋果蜜糖鴨胸沙律」,清酸醒胃,鴨胸肉軟熟而不騷,這點很重要啊。 「燒烤系列」沒錯,沿著燒烤的香氣走到露台,你就會看到有幾位在密密燒各款肉類的大廚。燒大蝦、牛柳、雞扒、吞拿魚扒、肉腸。數款肉食中,最好吃的是大蝦,必挑!大蝦經過炭火「慾火重生」,變得皮焦肉香,蝦肉是鮮活彈牙。另外烤雞扒是意外地好吃,雞皮燒

Brunch 的頭盤及沙律是任吃的自助餐,選擇有「凱撒沙律」、「法式吞拿魚沙律」、 「米飯沙律」、「希臘沙律」、「青菜沙律」、自家製麵包等。個人最愛的是「青蘋果蜜糖鴨胸沙律」,清酸醒胃,鴨胸肉軟熟而不騷,這點很重要啊。

沒錯,沿著燒烤的香氣走到露台,你就會看到有幾位在密密燒各款肉類的大廚。燒大蝦、牛柳、雞扒、吞拿魚扒、肉腸。數款肉食中,最好吃的是大蝦,必挑!大蝦經過炭火「慾火重生」,變得皮焦肉香,蝦肉是鮮活彈牙。另外烤雞扒是意外地好吃,雞皮燒得脆卜卜,肉質嫩滑且充滿肉汁。其餘的肉腸味道還不錯,牛扒燒得略嫌太熟,吞拿魚扒則有點太乾及過韌。

「Sugar」酒吧的 cocktail 一向是蠻有人氣的。雖則 $285 的價錢是不包飲品,但散點一杯特色雞尾酒也只是 $50 起,是日試了以下幾款:

炎炎夏日 ( 今天 36度,熱儍了!),來杯透心涼的 cocktail,加上少許酒精助慶,身心靈彷彿得到重生。

轉戰甜品部份,這系列吃得人頗滿足。檸檬撻、Tiramisu、各款迷你 cup cake 都齊備。我個人覺得檸檬撻是挺有驚喜,酸味是十分天然,口感幼滑,牛油撻底夠脆,整體的 chemistry 配合得不錯。另外那些迷你 cup cake 都做得造型亮眼,糕底質感鬆軟。個人喜愛的是香蕉拖肥,拖肥沒有太甜,香蕉味濃,是外頭少有吃到的特色滋味。

壓軸節目是調酒師為大家表現 rainbow shots,一個 shaker,倒出彩虹九種顏色的酒,巧厲害!
