If you are ever at Sheung Wan, do hit up Clicked. The bar is open till late but try to catching Max, the other manager. He makes a killer spicy Tom Yum Goong cocktail (it’ll cure any stuffy nose) and has good recommendations on whiskeys.

**These photos don’t justify the taste** I’ve been back a few times. Some highlights:

Plenty of “thaipas” (aka. Thai tapas) choices to go with drinks. I especially like the ham & mango bites.

The tamarind marinated grilled baby back ribs and tender pork necks are must tries! The secrets are in the marinates and the dipping sauces! The next table ordered the same things after seeing ours.

The pad thai is a signature here. Don’t judge it by the cover. The glutenous noodles are super al dente unlike what you had anywhere else and the highlight is the salted egg yolk crumbs! A Jing said the “modern thai” twist here is using the savoriness of the egg yolks to replace the traditional heavy use of salt and fish sauce.

The rock salt baked sea bass is fresh and the flesh is pillow soft. Not many bones. The spicy lemongrass sauce would give your taste buds a strong kick on the a** but the sting won’t stay long.

Fresh coconut green papaya salad has a citrusy, lemony chili dressing which makes it oh so refreshing. A Jing said coconut shaving is a work out on its own. The salad works like a sorbet between the dishes to “cleanse” the palettes.
