After the way toooo delicious trip to Singapore, my overloaded digestive system could rest at last. And the best way of cleaning your body? Act like a cow and have some greens! Thats why i was at JustSalad for dinner tonight. I have longed for a 100% vegetarian meal after the scrumptious, meaty and oilish meals in Singapore, and was desperate for something NOT yellowish. The place was not very crowded when i arrived, and the other customers were mostly OLs off from work. The place was not very crowded when i arrived, and the other customers were mostly OLs off from work. Step 1: the greens. I had the mesc which had a bit of everything. Step 2: the toppings. With the plastic salad bowl-which i got for free when the store first opened two years ago- i could get two more toppings for free. So altogether i got six toppings - broccoli, grape tomatoes, corn, cous cous, mushrooms and croutons.Step 3: the dressing, and i had the blue cheese dressing. Then i witnessed my salad being chopped and tossed until everything was evenly distributed. The big bowl of greens cost $52 - a bargain indeed!
There was a small piece of wholewheat bread with the salad, and it was quite soft indeed. But it tasted a little bland without butter on it - anyway, i did not go to JS for bread. I was there for the salad, and nothing else than that mattered.
All in all - a place i would highly recommend if you decide to eat like a cow and clean your digestive system a little There is also some unique toppings and dressings that you could hardly find elsewhere too!
