Really happy to see such an authentic craft beer and sandwich join in MK. Definitely going to be a regular here. Beer: The owner is definitely some super geeky beer geek. They built this crazy gas blending beer dispensing system where they can set the perfect gas blend for each beer tap according to style. Didn't count, but I think they have around 17 local and imported craft beers. Tried the young master pale ale infused with Amarillo. Super fresh, well balanced and really impressed with
Beer: The owner is definitely some super geeky beer geek. They built this crazy gas blending beer dispensing system where they can set the perfect gas blend for each beer tap according to style. Didn't count, but I think they have around 17 local and imported craft beers. Tried the young master pale ale infused with Amarillo. Super fresh, well balanced and really impressed with the idea of infusing finished beers with extra hops for the extra aroma . Also tried the cold brew nitro coffee. Definitely got blown away by this one. The nitro made the cold brew coffee super creamy even though there is NO cream in there. Very thoughtful! Now I know I can bring my gf over .
Food: first thing I have to say that I'm very impressed with their sour dough bread. The manager said all their bread is from this local bakery that only uses natural sour dough yeast. Tried the toasted gai. I think I shed a little tears for this one. Proper fried chicken pm thick cut sourd dough French toast with kaya butter and malted barley syrup. Genius. I would eat this every day if I were younger. Also tried the retired superman. 20% bread and 80% meat. Omg. I didn't even count how many kinds of protein was in there. The runny egg definitely made it a win. Also got to steal some of their beer bread from the table next to us. They made this beer grain bread with crazy local compound butters like xo sauce and fermented tofu . Good stuff.
Service: just have to say that the boss man James really knows his beer and is the funniest man on earth!
Hope to see more places like this in HK
