A long time ago, there was a place called Mr. Bing that served this. But for some reason, I don't know why, it closed. But lately, there have been a few new shops in Hong Kong that have popped up serving this ultimate street food. Yu Chu Jian Bing is one of them. Located in Wanchai in an area with a lot of really great cheap eatries, is this small take away stand. There is one lone chair if you want to eat there but there's no point as it's too small to stand.

Menu is in Chinese and English. The person at the cashier speaks fairly decent English as there was an expat who was ordering as well and the staff was very helpful to that person. They have not only classic flavors but some more modern flavors as well.  They also offer snacks as well.

Boyfriend and I shared one. We ordered the Beijing roast duck jian bing ($36) because I love hoisin sauce. The jianbing was really hot! A perfect item especially if winter as it's filling, too! There wasn't a lot of meat but it was enough. I loved the hoisin sauce mostly anyways. A good amount of coriander and lettuce to give it  bit of freshness. Biting into it, you also get lots of crunchy bits as well.

Fairly good and not very expensive. Filling could have been a bit more but that's always asking too much. A really good option for on the go food.
