I used to come here ocassionaly beofre newer and better Thai food restaurants opened in the area, it was the only option when I didn't feel like going outside of Aberdeen for Thai food. Passed by recently and decided to go for it to see if anything had changed and here is my review. The pricing is a littler higher than other similar type restaurants, something I attribute to the location. The food isn't that great even basic dishes are somewhat flat and plain. Sometimes the pad thai is dry and lacking in ingredients, the pineapple rice is ok but sometimes comes out a little soggy. Their curries and soups are also not that great but ok when there aren't other options around the area. Most of the food and ingredients seem fresh so I guess it's in the preparation where they are not getting it right.
The worst thing about this place, in my experience is the service. I've been here mostly during the early opening hours and the staff are quite unprofessional, casually talking and yelling at each other across the restaurant even while patrons are dining. Sometimes we are the only ones at the restaurant and I have to make an effort to catch the attention of the wait staff, and still our orders take upwards of 20-25 minutes when it doesn't seem they are that busy.
