To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

A great deal of western classics and colourful fruity mousses is paraded along the dessert kiosk beside an eye catching sweet corn pudding torched to golden-brown; the promptly made local-style waffles markets itself effortlessly with a familiar aroma 🧇

Due to its emphasis on mains, the Astor might not have the most impressive dessert variety, but the contents of each petite cup are of quality and surely up to par!

Thoughtful arrangements are also one of the many things to like about the Astor - the pastry section, fashioned as a beautiful old town bakery setup, is merely one of the details 🥯
If one is looking for a quality feast without a huge splurge, the Astor is the way to go.
