The recent addition of smoked chicken, however, is a master-stroke. The chicken is surprisingly juicy, and the blend of dry spices on the outside of the bird is a perfect compliment to the meat inside which literally falls off the bone. I'm also a big fan of some of the roasted/rotisserie chicken joints in Hong Kong, but 85's chicken is somehow MORE juicy and LESS greasey than its roasted brethren, and is easily the best chicken I've had in town. For those feeling a litle less indulgent, the chicken is an excellent alternative to ribs and pulled pork (there's also pulled chicken now) and the sides compliment the chicken just as well as the porcine portion of the menu. The only negative thing about the chicken is that it forces you to decide between chicken and pork, and it's going to be a tough decision for some people. In any case, the added variety is a great thing.
