I have been to UCC cafe for quite many times in different districts, however, Sogo one was my first time. My friend asked me to come in early, as they were quite full during lunch time, I arrived like 11:30am and there were already many patrons sitting inside and there were a couple of them waiting outside for the tables. I have made a bold choice to go for Clam Chowder Bread Bowl, apart from the one that I had in San Francisco, honestly, I couldn't find a good one yet in Hong Kong. The Bread Bowl was quite big, the bread were crunchy outside and soft inside. It was a mouth-watering soup mixed with potatoes and clams. To be frank, there was not a lot of clams, yet it was a creamy and tasty thick soup. It would be better if they could offer a little more, I didn't have enough, when I finished the soup, there were still many breads remained, it would be better if the portion could be bigger.
UCC has been renowned for their coffee, instead of trying the signature UCC blended coffee, I ordered Ethiopia Organic Decaffeinated Coffee，it retained the flavours of coffee with a natural sweetness, not only the taste was awesome, it smelt really good too!
