Wohooo! Thank god it's Friday🥳 Celebrating my Friday with eat all you can fries and steak is definitely one of the satisfying decisions ever.🤣 It's always welcoming when entering La Veché. All staff greet you in French and all were serving with big genuine smile. You could tell their passion on this job. We ordered medium rare steak served with a glass of rosé and ginger ale. First thing first, I was so looking forward for their mouth watering bread! Bread was served warm. Crust was very crunchy

First thing first, I was so looking forward for their mouth watering bread! Bread was served warm. Crust was very crunchy! Their French butter was incredibly smooth and buttery; not heavy at all. Just perfect with the bread. I even requested another round! The only flaw I would say is that I hope they would serve two butter knife for two guests instead of sharing with just one. Anyway, it's a personal preference.
Follow by the walnut salad. The first thing I would love to compliment was this is the only salad I've ever had can eat in perfect bite size! I could eat every single bite without messing up my mouth or my face😂 On the food side, vinaigrette was coated on all the vegetables well. It was not soggy at all. Generous amount of walnuts made every bite crunchy and nutty. More radish would be appreciated for a boost on peppery side!
Moving on to the main, two portions of steak was served with their house steak sauce and unlimited thin cut fries. The first portion of steak was cooked perfectly in medium rare. Soft but not chewy. Juicy steak with well seared crust. However, the second portion was quite chewy. 1/3 of it could barely be eaten. It was too tough to even bite. Such a shame😥
Steak sauce was delicious as usual. Cream and herby. Perfect to dip with fries.
Fries was cooked perfectly in golden colour. Mostly were long too! I asked for three rounds refill! 😂 Staff started to giving me less and less on every round🤣 Apologise of being a fries beast😂
Last but not least, we ordered lemon meringue pie and orange almond cake as dessert. Thinking of rounding up with citrusy taste to clear the taste bud.
Orange almond cake was super moist. Orange flavour was quite strong and flavourful, while no almond flavour could be taste. Not bad.
Lemon meringue tart was another highlight of tonight! 🤩 Meringue was a table spoon front height, no doubt it's very airy but not sweet. Lemon filling was exceptionally smooth and lemony! Crust was buttery and flaky. A big thumb up and a wow 🤩 on every bite💥
I must come back just for the tart🤪
It was a high quality dining experience and personally believe it's worth the price. It's our 5th/6th time visiting but still giving me a lot of surprises that calling me to come back 🥰
