This place has always been my top choice for fries, ever since my student days in the U.S. It's my comfort food. This time, I visited the TST branch that I often go to. They offer four sizes, three types of classic fries, and two special fries, along with four classic seasonings and one or two limited-time seasonings. I decided to try the Mega Classic Fries and Jumbo Tater Tots.
For the Mega Classic Fries, I could choose two flavors. I always go for Sour Cream & Onion and BBQ. The thin fries are fried to a perfect crisp, which is my favorite texture. Since the fries are thin, they hold onto a lot of seasoning, making them super flavorful! The Sour Cream & Onion is creamy, while the BBQ has a slight kick to it.
As for the Jumbo Tater Tots, I could choose one flavor, and I opted for the limited-time Wasabi Mayo. This option has a bit of spice, but the mayo flavor is prominent, and the wasabi adds a nice kick. Compared to the usual four classic flavors, it was a delightful surprise. The Tater Tots are crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside.
Both the fries and Tater Tots are made fresh to order, so there’s a bit of a wait, but it’s definitely worth it!
