I am a huge fan of anything spicy - I literally base my decisions on what to eat depending on whether the place has spicy food or not, so naturally I instantly connected with this place.I actually ate at the one in Tsuen Wan before I was able to find the one in Hung Hom. The one in Tsuen Wan is probably spicier (I had little spicy before and I thought it was hot but after a while I took medium spicy). You might be thinking - what? little spicy? this guy's weak! I actually ate at the one in Tsuen Wan before I was able to find the one in Hung Hom. The one in Tsuen Wan is probably spicier (I had little spicy before and I thought it was hot but after a while I took medium spicy). You might be thinking - what? little spicy? this guy's weak! However, if you have been here, you will know that the medium spicy is like extra, EXTRA spicy in comparison with other restaurants' level of spiciness.
I usually get pig ear, pig stomach, enoki mushroom, pork belly, and dried bean curd. The soup is a bit oily, but to me that is actually one of the biggest perks. There is a lot of vegetables and small ingredients included already and basically what I can say is: if you like spicy food, you NEED to try this place.
They also give a free cup of soy milk to all customers so make sure you ask for that!
