Multiple Additional Toppings to be had... I recommend the Sausage Option! All home made and seasoned, as I saw it the last time I visited here!.New York Styled, largish sized Pizza's to be chosen...Coke Zero - Well priced here..Pizza Margherita -This came with Mozzarella Cheese, Basil Herb and Tomato Sauce - basically it is meant to represent an Italian Caprese Salad which uses exactly the 3 same essential ingredients, as in turn with its colourful combination of the RED, WHITE & GR

This came with Mozzarella Cheese, Basil Herb and Tomato Sauce - basically it is meant to represent an Italian Caprese Salad which uses exactly the 3 same essential ingredients, as in turn with its colourful combination of the RED, WHITE & GREEN colours are suppose to represent the original Italian National Flag!
The toppings here are generous and even more so than its closest competitor Paisano's, which also does gigantic pizzas. Nowadays, it's baked pretty well for what is basically a Take-Away joint! Most importantly - it has improved from the past slightly! If you check the 1st ever review of this shop which was written by myself (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2156459), the crust on that pizza was white, not risen enough and very underbaked hard. I still remember that underwhelming experience of a pizza dough quite vividly!
.
This time around, the side of the Crust (called a Cornicione) was better puffed up at least and better baked!! It is not perfect still however, and this still requires some more work on the formulae. The Paisano's pizza in comparison and in general, has slightly worst Toppings than here Slices Pizzeria, but that version's crust is way more airy and also has that desirable 'elasticity' factor compared to here by a large margin! Going on by the many numbers of mediocre feedbacks from other reviewers below writing about here - I sincerely hope the Slices Pizzeria owners will try to listen to people out there with experience eating around pizza joints, as they have already shown to listen, to know that the Crust and the Dough is still a bit of a weakness compared to the competitions. Even though the toppings here are appreciated and pretty good and it is already on an upwards trajectory in terms of improvement!
Please go try the Paisano's dough base, or try out the most expensive Domani's or 208 Duecento versions - and may be you'll know what I am getting at!! Good luck with your improvements if we see them 1 day..
