The weather was unsually fine... the perfect catalyst for some outdoor family time. The weather was unsually fine... the perfect catalyst for some outdoor family time. Decided to make a short drive down to Stanley and chose Ocean Bay for dinner (after scouting through OpenRice).

To be honest, I had never expected much from restaurants catering to mainly tourists and/or expat crowds. And at Stanley, if you take away the expats, you take away the business. Simple as that. So I did have my reservations when I stepped into Ocean Bay.

Outcome? I was pleasantly surprised. I am no food critic, but the BBQ chicken wings, clams linguine and carbonara were pretty tasty. When it comes to pasta, I do pay attention to the "condiments" supplementing the dish, and the mix of parsley, garlic, olive oil, herbs... etc. was rather well proportioned. The BBQ chicken wings were juicy with delicious BBQ dip.

The ambience was quite nice as well. In a nutshell, I would return with my wife (without the kids) in the near future for an undisturbed meal.
