The owner, Bob, is an truly passionate about what he does at the restaurant. His good consistently exceeds my expectations every time I come! Anytime someone says there’s not a lot of good steak in hk for reasonable price, I guide them to Bob! For some 300ish hkd you get a set course beginning with salmon salad, tomato mushroom basil soup with perfectly roasted garlic bread (yummmmmmmmm!!!), and your choice of main. I have tried the steak, salmon, and pork all on different occasions and I swear by all these choices, but haven’t written a review yet since I haven’t gotten around to opening an account on OpenRice till recently! Dedicating my first post to this restaurant because everything is cooked to mouthwatering perfection (steak is the bomb!) and nothing is dry at all (the salmon is smooth and moist). Don’t forget that apple crumble that hits all the right spot. Sure, La Vache serves bottomless fries, but I’d take salmon salad and tomato soup with quality mains over la Vache any day! You’re awesome Bob!
