This place is huge. Great for getting a big group of people together, and the dishes are cleaned and stored in those sanitizing machines.There is no service because it is buffet. The people moving the coal around are courteous.Its just that, the staff at the entrance are SO RUDE!It is summer time after all. People want to get a big bunch of friends together to BBQ, right? So I gathered around 15-20 people. Over the phone, they said that we have to pay ahead for everybody if we were to save space

It is summer time after all. People want to get a big bunch of friends together to BBQ, right? So I gathered around 15-20 people. Over the phone, they said that we have to pay ahead for everybody if we were to save space for late comers. I totally understand the need, and we did. We reserved for 15 (you know how HK people "Fly Air Plane" so we reserved for 15 thinking 20)
I just asked them can we be seated somewhere with room to expand, as we might need to add a few more later on just to make sure. The staff was like
"WE SAID! OVER THE PHONE! You NEED to pay ahead for everyone!!!!"
We aren't even sure if some people would show up. Thats always the case ga la. What the hell, we are just trying to work with the restaurant to see we can work things out.
I am a polite man, maybe I was expecting too much. I asked in a good tone. I am paying $120 a pop plus corkage. I am bringing in $2500 of business and I only interacted with 3 staff the whole time. I still get a hard time.
Maybe they should hire someone at the front who realize that we are paying to eat and we are not refugees.
