After seeing the positive reviews here and the tasting menu has most of their signature dishes, I decided to take my husband here for his birthday this year. On the day, the tasting menu had different dishes from that on website, so we ordered from the à la carte menu. We had the hamachi, fois gras terrine, pork belly, uni pasta and suckling pig. The hamachi was fresh though it didn’t excite us (we were expecting ceviche of some kind). Everything that followed though was wonderfully delicious and got better dish after fish. We wanted to try pork belly from tasting menu and they were very accomodating and made it for us.

Highly recommend the uni pasta and suckling pig. Although it was of the crispy skin type, it was cooked to a tender perfection and beautifully paired with a smoky eggplant sauce, which we loved it even more.
We ended the meal with a yuzu souffle. The pastry chef seemed eager to know our thoughts on the souffle, and we’d like to let him know that it was very airy and light. 👍🏼
The staff was lovely as well. I was impressed that they remembered the booking was for a special occasion and did not need a reminder mid of the meal (which can be embarrassing sometimes).
We had a great time. I definitely made the right choice this year. 😉
