Birthday Party Again....I gave some chooses in Tedford Plaza for my colleagues to choose and they prefer RUBY, (FAT FAT AGAIN) For 15 people...we ordered the following dishes (Hope I don't miss anything)Build Your Own Sampler - Ruby’s Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Breaded Shrimp, Calamari….deep fried, onion ring is quite sweet but unhealthy dish at all! Southwestern Spring Rolls – deep fried again, my colleagues said that the stuff inside is spicy and western style is not very suitable for us! But
For 15 people...we ordered the following dishes (Hope I don't miss anything)
Build Your Own Sampler - Ruby’s Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Breaded Shrimp, Calamari….deep fried, onion ring is quite sweet but unhealthy dish at all!
Southwestern Spring Rolls – deep fried again, my colleagues said that the stuff inside is spicy and western style is not very suitable for us! But the tipping sauce, avocado ranch, is quite fresh!
Potato Skins x 2 – we had ordered for twice, they like it so much!
Caesar Salad - one is Teriyaki Chicken….the chicken is tenderized and the other one is Portabella Mushroom which had been grilled but the smell is not strong enough. Diced tomatoes are fresh.
Spaghetti Bolognese – not very popular and I took a spoon of the Bolognese sauce which has many diced tomato.
Clam Linguini – the pesto sauce was not matched with the clam meat.
Chicken & Broccoli Pasta – the broccoli is quite hard and the texture of the pasta is "Al Dente".
A Full Rack of Fork-Tender Ribs w/ Classic Barbecue & Honey Barbecue– I like it the most coz the taste is similar to that I tried in “Rain forest”. The ribs are very tenderized.
Mini Trio – I choose the crab cake one and share with my colleague. The taste of crab is not very strong but it is quite special to have such kind of burger.
Ruby Minis – 4 minis beef burger. Very cute but not tried.
Top Sirloin x 2 – I think the appearance of the beef in “Outback” is much better than it.
Grilled Lamb Chops – the portion is not very large but they said that it is much better than Sirloin.
Baked Potato – not tried!
Double Chocolate Cake x 4 - Really don’t understand why American Dessert is always so SWEET SWEET. The heart of the cake is not melted at all. I felt so disappointed.
Chocolate Tallcake x 4 – The size is so BIG. Slices of chocolate cake are placed at the bottom and two scoop of vanilla ice cream w/some chocolate and caramel sauces. I can only tell you that it is terrible. I ONLY felt "full" in my stomach when I saw it.
The service is quite good and we enjoy a lot in the environment. Lastly, Happy Birthday to "Chim" and "Ken"
