Something else that was different than other branches is breakfast! When I heard about this, I had to check it out! Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge as it is a fast food style restaurant. You order when you sit down and you pay on your way out.

For $7 you can add a bowl of rice macaroni. I chose the one with pork, shredded mushroom and dried shrimp. I have never actually had macaroni made from rice before and this was really good. The macaroni was chewy .. almost like mochi. The soup was savory with lots of mushrooms and pieces of pork. But the star was definitely the macaroni.

This is the grilled cheese sandwich tufei style with minced pork ($31). The bread was nicely toasted.

And the filling! Wow. So good! Boyfriend always orders the minced pork with his noodles which I really never understood why as it was never added directly to the noodles and once added,  they disappeared into the soup. It always confused me. But here, it made sense! Combined with the wonderfully melted cheese, it was absolute perfection!

The breakfast sets come with a hot drink. However, you can add $6 to upgrade to a Segfredo latte or cappuccino. So, obviously for curiosity, I had to upgrade. And yes, it arrived with a lot of froth. A nicer upgrade to the usual fast food coffee

A welcome addition to the Central area as it’s often not easy to find cost effective dining here. Seating here is a lot of more spacious than their other branches. And now that I know they serve breakfast, it’s a good option than the usual other places surrounding it.
