A wide selection of pastries and bread including gluten free muffins and toast. The gluten free muffin is definitely one of the softest and lightest muffins I have ever had, you would never know that it was gluten free because the colour and texture is the same as any other regular muffin. An egg station with a very skilled chef that makes the perfect sunny side up egg with crispy edges and a soft leaky yolk. He also makes egg white omelettes well! The noodle station had a really small selection of toppings (cuttlefish balls, white cabbage, 鹹酸菜, 豆腐卜) with 3 choices of noodles (河粉,蛋麵, 油面) but the clear soup is a really good vessel for the extra spices and sauces they have prepared (fried garlic, coriander, chilli sauce, soy sauce, red vinegar, . I had the 河粉 with cuttlefish balls, white cabbage, 豆腐卜 and I topped it with chilli sauce and fried garlic. This combo was delicious. The cuttlefish ball was so tender and had chunks of cuttlefish in it too. The 鹹酸菜 was a perfect combination with the 豆腐卜because the 豆腐卜 absorbed all the flavors of the 鹹酸菜. The 河粉 itself was perfectly al dente and not mushy at all, there was a firm bit to it and absorbed all the soup flavors. I also topped it with a fried egg which just completed this dish as the silky egg yolk was perfect with the noodle.
The pork congee I ate with their mini 油炸鬼 and it was amazing, same taste as you would get at an authentic Hong Kong street shop. Although the congee I ate was very watery because I was at the bottom of the pot but the pork flavor was very obvious.
There was also selections of fried noodles, fried rice, baked beans, pork sausage and dim sum etc. They also had a fresh juice bar with carrot juice and green apple juice as well as a yogurt bar and fruit bar. The savory selection was certainly more mundane and normal to any other hotel breakfast buffets but their pastries selection was definitely more impressive with stuff such as pineapple bread, apple pockets, brownies and chocolate croissants.
They also had a Hong Kong milk tea station and a coffee machine (with only hot espresso and americano option(but you can ask for ice) 😅)
Overall, this breakfast buffet was very ordinary with standardized savory dishes. I would not recommend if you come solely for this or have to pay extra for this but if it is part of your hotel package then it would be worth it.
