I've always heard about Gough on Goughs but the price has always been prohibitive. when restaurant week came around I was so happy to secure a lunch booking. sadly, it was not what I had hoped... entree was some cold cuts of meat and bread, main was fish and chips... typical pub food though it was cooked well. the lemon tart was so sour it was uneatable. the second dessert was some berries and whipped cream. the waiter was very professional though I don't know why they cram the customers into o

the waiter was very professional though I don't know why they cram the customers into one corner with only one waiter, when 75% of the restaurant is empty and 5 other staff members are standing around and chit chatting to each other

maybe due to the cheaper price of restaurant week they decided to serve lower quality food and service😅
