Seafood brunch by the sea! Loving the uninterrupted seaview and the white and blue setting of the restaurant, as if surrounded by the ocean. Service has been attentive but there’re lots of room for improvement - not refilling bread, forgetting my request for a celebration wordings on dessert plate...It’s a 5-course brunch set with shellfish platter, appetizer, main, cheese and dessert. It’s a 5-course brunch set with shellfish platter, appetizer, main, cheese and dessert. How fitting to begin the meal with a shellfish platter - fresh big prawns, clams, oyster and sea snails. They are all very fresh but not particularly impressive (esp the oyster being quite flat).

The appetizer on the other hand is the best course. Their crab and mango salad is definitely highlight of the day! - incredibly refreshing with natural sweetness from fresh crab meat and mango, the genius addition of cabbages provided extra crunch and freshness, also complemented by a paper thin bread crisp. Everything was balanced to perfection.

The main course was relatively average, my beef tenderloin was slightly over cooked, I was hoping for a medium rare.. but the Anna potato was well executed, thin layered potatoes was very crispy on the edges.

On our request, the chef has kindly replaced the cheese course with a pre-dessert for us - rhubarb granita and strawberry sorbet. It’s very very refreshing palate cleanser, the aromatic rhubarb totally power over the strawberry but in a good way.

There ain’t more indulgent dessert than a properly risen dark chocolate soufflé! Rich and fluffy with slight crisp on the edges. So good! It would’ve been even better if there’s a scoop of ice cream to balance the intense flavor.

Ending the meal with a freshly baked madeleine, warm crunchy crust but soft and moist on the inside.
