Took my family out for lunch to celebrate Canada Day 2018. I chose Café Crêpe because it is one of the few restaurants in Hong Kong that serves Parisian style crêpes with a Vancouver twist. Took my family out for lunch to celebrate Canada Day 2018. I chose Café Crêpe because it is one of the few restaurants in Hong Kong that serves Parisian style crêpes with a Vancouver twist. A good place to give us a taste of home on our national day. 🇨🇦

Booked a table for four in advance and arrived at 1pm on the Sunday. We got a nice booth upstairs.

I was surprised by the new Spring menu. Although some of the signature crêpes were renamed and reclassified into the menu categories, most can still be found on the menu.

As far as I’m concerned, there is no major price rise on the menu items.

Duck Alsace, previously the signature Crêpe Française - Savoury, consists of a pulled duck confit with Gruyere cheese, fresh thyme, caramelized onions and Dijon mustard, finished with crème fraiche and fresh chives.

I was a bit disappointed by the pulled duck confit, as it was a lot more tender last time I tried it.

Classic  Eggs  Benedict

Classic Eggs Benedict, 2 perfectly poached eggs served on an English muffin with Canadian back bacon and house-made hollandaise sauce, served with hash browns.

I chose this breakfast option because my family members have never tried eggs benedict ever before. They seemed to have enjoyed their first time egg benedict dining experience.

Signature  Burger

Signature Burger, previously Classic Burger, includes beef patty with fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions, and mayonnaise on a fresh baked brioche bun, served with French fries.

The beef patty was really juicy and the fries were delicious. However the menu no longer specifies the weight of the beef patty.

Nutella Milkshake is a pleasantly sweet and non-alcoholic option for kids and those who can’t intake alcohol.

Crepe  Grecque

Finally, Crêpe Grecque, previously Crêpe Grecque - Sweet, a lemon walnut crêpe, finished with baklava, pistachio, whole honey comb, vanilla ice cream, and icing sugar.

Just the right dish to end this meal on a sweet note.

The receipt including all food and drinks ordered with the prices for reference. There was also a 10% service charge.

Finally, Happy Canada Day to all! Highly recommend this restaurant for any Canadian themed celebration events or just a special meal out.
