The first time I came here was during the Christmas holidays and I tried, rather I asked for their Milk tea with red beans ($25). And what I got was just plain Assam black tea ($18). I didn't bother with it because I was already in a rush for my flight so I let it go. And I believe they had just opened with a 30% off promotion when I first came.So after returning to HK, I noticed a new promotion so I thought of giving it another try. 20% off on all milk teas until the 10th. So after returning to HK, I noticed a new promotion so I thought of giving it another try. 20% off on all milk teas until the 10th. I asked for an Earl Gray milk tea ($22) from the cashier and both me and the cashier pointed at it from the menu. He speaks and understands English too by the way. I remember him repeating the drinks' name to confirm and with a nod, I paid my order. So after waiting for 20 minutes for my drink, low and behold I got an Earl Gray TEA ($20) upon my first sip.
My fault for not really reading at the receipt but it's a given that the cashier knows what he's doing or else he wouldn't be there. The first incident was probably an accident so I let it slide. But this time, I am completely and absolutely sure the cashier repeated the drink I wanted but it came out as a friggin' tea that costs $20. Fool me twice, shame on that cashier. Never will I return to this God forsaken establishment that's more like a Instagram club snapping bunny snouts than actually serving decent tea like tptea or 茶理史.
