Saturday night, after a full day of work, me and my friend decided we need to have something casual for dinner. As we felt real tired, and SOHO is usually full on saturday night, we decided to try this Irish Pub. Saturday night, after a full day of work, me and my friend decided we need to have something casual for dinner. As we felt real tired, and SOHO is usually full on saturday night, we decided to try this Irish Pub. Not full and most customers are watching the soccer match and lots of beer, PERFECT!
We sat down, the seats are hard and the table is a bit small, but we don't care and ordered our beer first. My friend's Kronenbourg 1664 draught looks pretty good, and my Guinness is smooooth! As we are both tired, we only ordered 2 main dish, their signature Fish n Chips and their Chicken Mushroom Pie.
The Fish n Chips is really good, the batter on the fish is not too thick and extremely crusty and crispy and the fish fillet tasted fresh. The potato wedges are nice too, lot so ketchup were used haha!
The Chicken and Mushroom Pie is different from our normal expected pie. It has this puff pastry covering a bowl and inside the bowl is the fillings. I must mention the filling, from chicken to mushrooms to carrots, they are all so chunky, I love it.
All in all, I enjoyed this meal so much and we definitely will come back and try their egg benedict, as being recommended by other eaters.
Great finish for a tiring but fulfilling day!
